shunt emerged from researching the unique acoustics and architecture of a trench. Starting from this discovery, it explores the significance of the alternative path as a necessity. The trench's historical role as a means of separation and as a powerful symbol of human aggression collapses. This inhospitable condition is redefined and transformed into a space of coexistence and interaction with the natural harmonics that the trench itself produces when the performers sound within it. Its narrow architecture also shapes the choreography inside this alternative pathway of optimism, suggesting that things can indeed be done differently.
Dancers, vocalists, and instrumentalists share a terrain of sound and motion, each carrying the character of their own discipline and personality, while grounded in body music — rhythm, breath, and voice woven through movement.
